The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing inbound logistics operations for domestic and international finished goods into the New York distribution center. This role ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant receipt of merchandise through coordination with factories, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. It oversees inbound shipment tracking, receiving and inspection processes, inventory reconciliation, and documentation accuracy across ERP and warehouse management systems. The position also supports operational efficiency by monitoring shipment status, resolving inbound delays or discrepancies, and maintaining accurate data to ensure visibility and integrity across the supply chain.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Inbound Logistics & Distribution Operations

• Oversee inbound finished goods shipments from domestic and international factories to the New York distribution center, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of merchandise

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, verifying quantities and condition, documenting discrepancies, and escalating issues when needed

• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods into the warehouse

• Track inbound shipment status end-to-end, proactively resolving delays and communicating updates to internal stakeholders

• Maintain organized receiving areas and support daily inbound warehouse operations and storage standards

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

• Forecast and resolve inbound supply risks, including production shortages and delivery delays, in collaboration with domestic production and international partners

• Ensure inventory accuracy through proper tracking and reconciliation of incoming stock across systems and facilities

• Develop and distribute regular inbound logistics reports, including shipment status, receiving performance, and exception tracking

• Manage inventory allocations and create pick tickets for fulfillment through 3PL partners

• Ensure efficient outbound logistics, maintaining timely distribution of collections to customers

• Coordinate inter-warehouse transfers to support inbound flow and stock accuracy

• Maintain regular communication with 3PL partners to ensure high performance standards and KPI achievement

Documentation, Compliance & Systems

• Prepare and complete import/export and shipping documentation to support customs clearance and movement of goods

• Maintain accurate logistics data across systems and dashboards to ensure operational integrity and reporting accuracy

• Utilize RLM ERP, WMS platforms, (RLM is a plus) and Excel for inbound tracking, reporting, and operational analysis

• Support KPI tracking and reporting to improve inbound logistics efficiency and performance visibility

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics position

• Maintains a proactive, positive, and solutions-oriented approach in a fast-paced office environment

• Comfortable working with various departments, fostering strong working relationships across teams

• Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to organization, consistency, and clear communication

• Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Suite (intermediate Excel experience)
