Schedule/Hours: Mon-Fri - 1^st shift flexible on hours

Location: Hanover Park, IL

Pay Rate: $24-25 an hour based on experience and certifications

Summary

Drive our company truck with capacity of 26,000 or less. Transport CNC material goods to and from our customers in a safe efficient matter. Local deliveries. Travel within IL and WI. Daily drop off and pick ups between our Hanover Park and Bartlett location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Verifies load against shipping papers.

Drives truck to destination.

Prepares receipts for load pickups.

Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.

Maintains contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.

Loads and unloads truck. May need to use forklift and pallet jack.

Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

Follow established safety practices and requirements pertaining to the type of work involved.

Mostly local driving, with some out of state pickups/deliveries. When not driving helping in Shipping Receiving/Logistics and Outside Operations, as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Class C - CDL driving license. Able to drive in IL and WI. Forklift and pallet jack certification.

Physical Demands

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Able to pass a background check, DOT physical, DOT drug test, vision test, motor vehicle license check and lift test.
